FAQ

This paddle set is designed for 20-inch, 21-inch, and 22-inch single-stage snow throwers. It is compatible with equipment manufactured by Craftsman, Murray, Noma, Snapper, and Sears.
This part replaces OEM number 302565MA and is compatible with cross-reference numbers 1687312SM, 335992MA, 57121MA, and M9574.
You should inspect your paddles if you notice a significant decrease in the machine's ability to throw snow or if the unit is no longer self-propelling effectively. If the rubber edges are worn down to the metal auger or show signs of cracking, tearing, or missing chunks, they are no longer maintaining the necessary contact with the ground to clear snow efficiently.
Installation typically requires a standard socket set or wrenches, a screwdriver, and potentially a pair of pliers. Because these paddles are exposed to moisture and salt, the original hardware may be rusted; having a penetrating oil spray on hand to loosen the old bolts is highly recommended.
While the auger assembly is disassembled, it is a good time to inspect the scraper bar at the bottom of the housing. If the scraper bar is worn, it will prevent the paddles from reaching the pavement properly, regardless of how new the paddles are. Additionally, check the auger bearings for any play or noise, as replacing them now can prevent a mid-season breakdown.
