Compatibility & Fitment
- Designed for use on most recreational vehicles, including motorhomes, campers, and travel trailers.
- Connects to any standard US garden hose (3/4" GHT/NH).
- Installs into RV plumbing systems using a 1/2" NPT female fitting.
When to Replace
- Visible cracks, discoloration, or brittleness in the plastic housing.
- Water leaks from the flange, hose connection, or plumbing connection.
- Failure of the internal check valve, allowing water to flow back out of the inlet.
- Stripped or damaged threads preventing a secure hose connection.
Installation Tips
- Turn off and depressurize the water system before starting.
- Remove the old city water inlet flange and disconnect the plumbing line.
- Clean the exterior surface and plumbing connection threads.
- Wrap the 1/2" NPT male threads with the included thread seal tape 3-5 times in a clockwise direction.
- Screw the new inlet into the RV's plumbing fitting and tighten until snug. Do not overtighten.
- Align the flange and secure it to the RV exterior with the provided screws.
- Connect a pressurized water hose and inspect all connections for leaks.
