RV City Water Inlet Brass with Check Valve - 3/4" NH Female to 1/2" NPT Male Thread - Includes Dust Plug

Key Features

  • Construction: Lead-free brass fitting with a durable, UV-resistant housing.
  • Integrated Check Valve: Prevents backflow from the RV's plumbing system.
  • Inlet Connection: 3/4 inch NH (GHT) female for standard garden hoses.
  • Outlet Connection: 1/2 inch NPT male for direct connection to RV water lines.
  • Included Accessories: Comes with a press-in dust plug to keep debris out and a screen filter washer.

Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers

  • Serves as a direct replacement for most standard OEM city water inlets with a 3-inch diameter flange and 1/2-inch NPT male connection.

Compatibility & Fitment

  • Flange Diameter: 3 inches
  • Hose Thread: 3/4 inch Garden Hose Thread (GHT), also known as National Hose (NH).
  • Pipe Thread: 1/2 inch National Pipe Taper (NPT).
  • Application: Universal fit for most recreational vehicles, motorhomes, campers, and travel trailers.

When to Replace

  • Visible cracks, discoloration, or brittleness in the plastic housing.
  • Persistent leaking at the hose connection or from the flange mount.
  • Failure of the internal check valve, causing water to drain back out of the inlet.
  • Stripped or damaged threads on either connection.

Installation Tips

  • Ensure the water supply is disconnected and the RV system is depressurized before removal.
  • Apply plumber's tape (Teflon tape) to the 1/2 inch NPT male threads to ensure a leak-proof seal.
  • Clean the RV exterior surface before mounting the new flange.
  • Tighten mounting screws evenly to create a flush seal against the RV wall. Do not overtighten.
  • After installation, connect a water source and check for leaks before restoring full pressure.
