The cord measures 140cm in length with a 4mm (5/32") diameter. It comes pre-assembled with a durable handle grip, making it a direct replacement for standard recoil starter systems on the listed engines, including those referencing OEM part number 28400-ZH8-013YA or 28400-ZH8-013ZA.
Replacing the cord is a straightforward task that typically takes 15 to 30 minutes. You will need a basic socket set or screwdriver to remove the recoil starter housing from the engine. Once removed, you will need to unwind the remaining old cord, secure the new cord to the pulley, and carefully wind it back while maintaining tension on the recoil spring. Always wear eye protection when working with recoil springs, as they are under tension.
