To maintain optimal suction performance and air filtration quality, it is recommended to replace the HEPA filter every 2 months, depending on your usage frequency and the amount of pet hair or debris in your home.
These filters are designed for dry use. Washing them with water can damage the filter media and degrade its ability to trap fine dust particles. If the filter appears clogged, it is best to tap it gently against the side of a trash bin to dislodge loose dust or use a soft brush, but replacement is necessary once the filter becomes discolored or airflow is noticeably restricted.
Each filter measures approximately 82mm x 42mm x 15mm, ensuring a precise fit for the dustbin assembly of the compatible ILIFE models.
You should replace the filter if you notice a decrease in suction power, if the vacuum becomes noisier than usual, or if the filter media appears heavily coated with dust that cannot be removed by tapping it out. A clogged filter forces the vacuum motor to work harder, which can lead to overheating and reduced battery life.
