Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the gas supply from the grill before beginning installation.
  • Confirm the new module matches the old one's size and connection type.
  • Install the battery with the correct polarity as indicated on the module.
  • Ensure the electrode wires are securely connected to the module outlets.
  • Test for a consistent spark at the electrode tip before reassembling the grill and connecting the gas.

*Always work in a well-ventilated area to avoid gas build-up. Wear gloves and safety glasses; 1. Turn off the gas supply; 2. Unplug the wires behind the old igniter. Gently pull it out from the housing; 3. Insert the new switch and reconnect the wires; 4. Turn the gas supply back on. Press the igniter button to check if it creates a spark.
