Compatibility & Fitment
These bulbs fit C9/E17 intermediate-base sockets used in string lights, candle lamps, Christmas trees, patio lines, garden porches, rooflines, weddings, bistros, markets, and other decorative indoor or outdoor lighting. The multicolor faceted shells include red, blue, green, orange, and white bulbs. Each bulb measures approximately 3 inches tall by 1-1/4 inches wide. They are waterproof and rated for indoor and outdoor use.
When to Replace
Replace a bulb if it flickers, becomes noticeably dimmer, shifts color, develops a cracked shell, shows a burnt base, or remains dark while the rest of the string operates. Replace damaged bulbs before outdoor exposure, even if they still illuminate.
Installation Tips
- Switch off and unplug the light string before removing or installing bulbs.
- Allow a recently used bulb to cool before handling it.
- Check that the socket is a C9/E17 type, then hand-tighten the bulb without forcing the base.
- Use a compatible dimmer; confirm the string and dimmer are rated for dimmable LED bulbs.
- For outdoor use, install the bulbs in weather-protected sockets and check seals for moisture or damage.
