Compatibility & Fitment
These C9 bulbs fit E17 intermediate screw sockets used in C9 string lights. They are intended for indoor and outdoor Christmas lighting, exterior patio lines, decorative lighting, Christmas villages, chandeliers, nightlights, plug-in nightlights, salt lamps, salt baskets, and electric candles. The bulbs operate from a 120-volt AC power source.
Each bulb measures 1.25 inches in diameter by 2.75 inches high. The plastic construction provides a shatter-resistant alternative to glass incandescent bulbs.
When to Replace
Replace a bulb when it flickers, becomes noticeably dimmer, changes colour, fails to illuminate, or shows a cracked shell or burnt base. On a string light, replace individual bulbs when one section is dark or a socket no longer produces light.
Installation Tips
- Turn off and unplug the string light or fixture before removing a bulb.
- Allow a recently used bulb and socket to cool before handling.
- Hand-tighten the E17 bulb into the socket; do not force or overtighten it.
- Use only in sockets rated for the bulb's 120-volt AC supply.
- For outdoor use, install in compatible outdoor sockets and protect connections from standing water and moisture.
