Compatibility & Fitment
- Universal design fits three tubing sizes
- For 1/4 in, 5/16 in, and 3/8 in outside diameter (OD) tubing
- Suitable for use on the low-pressure side of R-410A systems and other common refrigerants
When to Replace
- Add a service port for system diagnostics, evacuation, or charging
- Install a gauge port on a sealed refrigeration line
- Repair a system where original service ports are damaged or inaccessible
Installation Tips
- Clean the tubing surface of all dirt, paint, and corrosion before clamping
- Ensure installation occurs on a straight, round, and undamaged section of tubing
- Use the correct sleeve insert for the specific tubing diameter
- Tighten clamp screws evenly until the piercing needle is seated
- Do not attempt to reuse or reposition the valve after the line has been pierced
