This kit is designed for Stihl 017, 018, MS170, and MS180 chainsaws.
The air filter in this kit replaces Stihl OEM part numbers 1130 124 0800, 1130 124 0801, and 1130 140 2803.
This kit includes the air filter, a spark plug, a fuel filter, and an oil filter to assist with routine engine maintenance.
For optimal performance, replace these components at least once per season or every 50 hours of operation. If you notice a loss of power, difficulty starting, or excessive fuel consumption, it is likely time for a tune-up.
If your chainsaw feels sluggish, lacks power under load, or consumes more fuel than usual, the air filter may be clogged. A dirty filter restricts airflow, which forces the engine to run 'rich' and can lead to carbon buildup on the spark plug.
When replacing the fuel filter, ensure the fuel tank is nearly empty to prevent spills. Use a small hook tool to pull the fuel line through the tank opening, remove the old filter, and firmly attach the new one. Ensure the line is not kinked when you push it back into the tank.
