- Universal-fit sealing tape for general purpose weather stripping applications. Suitable for replacing deteriorated original foam gaskets and seals on a wide range of equipment.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Designed to seal gaps from approximately 1/16 in to 1/8 in.
- Applications: Interior and exterior door frames, window sashes, automotive doors and trunks, marine hatches, HVAC units, and electronic enclosures.
- Surface Compatibility: Adheres to clean, dry metal, plastic, wood, and painted surfaces.
When to Replace
- Existing seal is visibly compressed, cracked, or hardened.
- Adhesive on the old seal is failing or peeling away from the surface.
- Increased drafts, noise, or water intrusion is noticeable around sealed areas.
- Visible light is seen through gaps when the door or window is closed.
Installation Tips
- Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, and dust. Use an appropriate cleaning solvent for preparation.
- Measure the required length and cut the tape with scissors or a utility knife.
- Peel the protective liner from the adhesive side.
- Apply the tape to the surface, pressing firmly and evenly to ensure full contact.
- Avoid stretching the material during application as this can cause it to contract over time.
