Installation Tips
- Set the multimeter to the Type-K temperature setting before connecting the probe.
- Insert the shrouded banana plugs fully into the correct input jacks on the multimeter, observing polarity markings.
- Allow the thermocouple bead sufficient time to reach the temperature of the medium being measured for an accurate reading.
- Do not exceed the probe's maximum rated temperature of 500°F (260°C).
