When to Replace
- Texture Loss: The orange scrub strips appear flattened or worn down, resulting in decreased cleaning efficiency.
- Saturation Issues: The pads no longer absorb cleaning solution effectively or leave excessive streaks on the floor.
- Structural Wear: The backing material is frayed, or the hook and loop attachment no longer grips the mop head.
- Permanent Soiling: The pads retain odors or visible dirt even after a high-temperature wash cycle.
- Maintenance Cycle: Replace pads every 3 to 6 months depending on cleaning frequency and floor roughness.
Installation Tips
- Turn off and unplug the mop (or ensure the power is off for cordless models) before changing pads.
- Fold the pad in half, ensuring the orange scrub material is on the outside.
- Align the small center dot on the pad with the middle screw on the bottom of the spinning foot.
- Press the pad firmly onto the hook and loop surface, smoothing it out to the edges to prevent vibration during use.
- Washing Instructions: Wash in warm water with liquid detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softeners as they can degrade the scrub strips and reduce absorbency. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.
