Compatibility & Fitment

This AC port plug is suitable for RVs, enclosed trailers, boats, Jeeps, pickup trucks, golf carts, garden sheds, cabins, and industrial applications. It is compatible with EZGO TXT, EZ-GO, Yamaha, and 2001 Club Car DS golf carts.

The female side accepts NEMA 1-15P, 5-15P, 5-20P, 6-15P, and 6-20P connectors. When using 6-15 or 6-20 adapter types, the connected interior devices must accept a wide voltage range from 110V to 250V.

When to Replace

Replace an existing power inlet when its cover no longer seals tightly, the connection shows oxidation or weather damage, the wiring is worn, or the inlet no longer provides a secure pass-through connection. Replacement is also appropriate when a damaged port causes unreliable power or exposes the electrical connection to outdoor conditions.

Installation Tips

  • Use a drill with a 2-inch hole saw to create the required mounting opening.
  • Insert the AC port plug into the opening and position the flange against the mounting surface.
  • Secure the inlet with the four provided screws.
  • The plug-and-play design does not require cable modification or hand wiring.
  • Disconnect power before installation and verify that the connected equipment is suitable for the electrical rating.

FAQs

This adapter is rated for 20 amps at 125 volts AC and uses 12 AWG conductors. Do not exceed either the 20A current rating or the 125V voltage rating.
The 5-in-1 design supports multiple compatible 20A, 125V AC T-blade connection configurations. Confirm that the plug and receptacle pattern match before use; it should not be forced into a nonmatching outlet.
It is intended for compatible 20A, 125V AC electrical equipment and port or receptacle connections. Verify the equipment’s plug pattern, voltage, amperage, and grounding requirements before connecting it.
Inspect the adapter, cord, terminals, and mating receptacle for cracks, looseness, corrosion, heat damage, or exposed wiring. Use it only on a properly rated circuit, disconnect power before making any wiring changes, and replace it if the connection becomes hot or shows damage.
