1.5" to 1.5" T-Joint Pool Hose Connector with 3 Rubber O-Rings
Key Features
- Connects three 1.5-inch diameter pool hoses in a T-configuration.
- Durable, corrosion-resistant polymer construction for longevity.
- Includes three rubber o-rings to create a secure, watertight seal at each connection point.
- Allows for splitting or combining water flow within a pool's filtration or heating system.
- Smooth interior surfaces minimize flow restriction.
Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers
- Serves as a universal 3-way T-adapter for systems using 1.5-inch hoses.
- Can be used in place of custom plumbing configurations requiring a T-split for 1.5-inch connections.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Hose Size: Fits standard 1.5" (38mm) inner diameter swimming pool filter hoses.
- Pool Type: Designed for above ground swimming pools.
- Compatible Systems: Works with filter pumps, sand filters, cartridge filters, and saltwater systems from brands including Intex, Hayward, and Coleman that utilize 1.5-inch hose connections.
When to Replace
- Visible cracks, fractures, or signs of material fatigue on the existing connector.
- Persistent leaks at hose connection points that cannot be resolved by tightening clamps.
- Degradation from chemical or UV exposure, causing the material to become brittle.
- During system upgrades or re-plumbing of pool equipment.
Installation Tips
- Ensure the pool pump is turned off and unplugged before installation.
- Place one rubber o-ring on each of the three connector outlets before attaching hoses.
- Slide 1.5-inch hoses completely over the connector outlets.
- Secure each hose with a correctly sized hose clamp (sold separately).
- Tighten clamps until snug. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the connector or hoses.
- After installation, power on the pump and inspect all connections for leaks.
