This solenoid requires a 3-terminal layout with two upper studs and one lower stud; 4-terminal and other configurations are not compatible.

When to Replace

Replace the solenoid when the starter does not receive battery power, the mower produces a click without cranking, or the engine cranks intermittently despite a charged battery and sound cable connections.
