100W 24V LED Power Supply Transformer (4.2A, IP67 Waterproof)
Key Features
- Plug-and-Play AC Input: Comes pre-wired with a standard US 3-prong grounded wall plug and a wide input voltage range (90-260V AC), completely eliminating the need for dangerous, high-voltage hardwiring.
- IP67 Waterproof Rating: The internal circuitry is fully encapsulated in a premium polyurethane resin and housed inside a rugged aluminum alloy casing. It is completely protected against dust, humidity, heavy rain, and temporary water submersion.
- Constant Voltage Output: Delivers a smooth, flicker-free 24V DC output at up to 4.2 Amps, which is crucial for maintaining the lifespan, brightness, and color consistency of longer runs of delicate LED strip lights.
- Silent & Fanless Design: The extruded aluminum casing acts as a heavy-duty heatsink, dissipating internal heat naturally. This allows for completely silent operation with no moving parts or noisy cooling fans to fail over time.
- Comprehensive Safety Suite: Built with automatic protection mechanisms that immediately cut power in the event of a short circuit, overload, over-voltage, or excessive thermal temperature, automatically resetting once the fault is cleared.
Product Specifications
- Input Voltage: 90-260V AC (50/60Hz).
- Output Voltage: 24V DC (Constant Voltage).
- Maximum Output Current: 4.2 Amps.
- Maximum Power: 100 Watts.
- Ingress Protection: IP67 (Indoor & Outdoor Safe).
Compatibility & Applications
This rugged, weather-resistant power driver is perfect for powering 24-volt direct current electronics in demanding environments:
- Extended Outdoor LED Lighting: 24V systems experience much less voltage drop than 12V systems, making this perfect for long runs of outdoor LED strip lights for patios, deck perimeters, and architectural accent lighting.
- Commercial Signage: Ideal for powering 24V LED neon rope lights and illuminated storefront signs safely outdoors.
- Indoor Projects: High-density under-cabinet kitchen lighting, bathroom vanity mirrors, and custom closet LED illumination where moisture or steam is present.
- Industrial & Hobby Equipment: Provides stable 24V power to compatible CNC controllers, 3D printer beds, and automated water pumps.
Installation & Safety Tips
- The 80% Rule (CRITICAL): To ensure the longest possible lifespan and prevent overheating, never load a power supply to 100% capacity. You should only run a maximum of 80 Watts (80% of 100W) continuously on this transformer.
- Verify Voltage Compatibility (PRO TIP): This is a 24V transformer. Do not connect it to 12V LED strips or appliances, as the doubled voltage will instantly overheat and destroy 12V components.
- Waterproof Your Splices: While the power supply block itself is waterproof, the bare wire connections you make to your lights are not. You must use adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing or waterproof silicone wire nuts to seal your connections.
- Do Not Submerge Permanently: IP67 means the unit can survive temporary shallow submersion (like a heavy puddle), but it is not designed to operate permanently underwater (like sitting at the bottom of a pond). Mount it off the ground where water can drain.
