When to Replace

• Visible cracks, breaks, or significant wear on the head housing.

• The bump knob is worn through and no longer functions.

• Excessive or unusual vibration during use.

Installation Tips

• Ensure the engine is off and disconnect the spark plug wire before servicing.
• To remove the old head, insert a locking pin or small screwdriver into the designated hole on the gear head to prevent the shaft from turning.
• Unscrew the old trimmer head by turning it clockwise (it has a left-hand thread).
• Clean any dirt or debris from the trimmer's threaded shaft.
• Screw the new head on counter-clockwise until it is firmly hand-tight.
