15W E12 T20 Salt Lamp & Wax Warmer Bulb (2700K Warm White)
Key Features
- Optimal Heat Output: Specifically engineered to produce the perfect amount of thermal energy required to release negative ions from Himalayan salt rocks and safely melt fragrant wax tarts without boiling or smoking. (Note: LED bulbs will not work for these applications as they do not generate heat).
- T20 Tubular Shape: Features a narrow, elongated glass envelope designed to slide effortlessly into the small, drilled-out cavities of natural salt lamps and compact plug-in wall warmers.
- Standard Candelabra Fit: Equipped with an E12 candelabra threaded base, the universal standard for small decorative lighting, night lights, and specialty appliance fixtures.
- Soothing Ambient Glow: Emits a calming 2700K Warm White light, enhancing the natural pink/orange hues of salt crystals to create a cozy, relaxing atmosphere in bedrooms and living spaces.
- Fully Dimmable: Fully compatible with the inline rotary dimmer switches standard on most high-quality salt lamp cords, allowing you to dial in the perfect brightness and heat level.

Compatibility & Applications
This 15W E12 bulb is an exact replacement for small, heat-dependent decorative fixtures, including:
- Himalayan Salt Lamps: Ideal for small to medium-sized carved salt lamps and wire salt chunk baskets.
- Wax Melters & Warmers: Fits most brand-name plug-in wall warmers (like Scentsy) and tabletop wax tart melters.
- Night Lights & Accent Decor: Perfect for vintage wall night lights, decorative string lights, and small holiday village displays.
- Small Appliances: Can be used in some older sewing machines and refrigerator models that require a T20 E12 profile.
When to Replace
- Wax Isn't Melting: If the light turns on but your wax melts take hours to soften (or don't melt at all), the filament is failing and no longer producing the necessary 15W of heat.
- Salt Lamp is "Weeping": Salt lamps absorb moisture from the air. If the bulb dies or becomes too weak, the lamp will begin to sweat or leak saltwater onto your furniture. A fresh, hot bulb prevents this.
- Visible Darkening: If the clear glass has turned heavily frosted, gray, or black on the inside, the bulb is nearing the end of its life and should be swapped to maintain optimal brightness.
Installation & Safety Tips
- Safety First (CRITICAL): Always unplug your lamp or wax warmer from the electrical outlet before changing the bulb.
- Let it Cool: These incandescent bulbs run surprisingly hot. If the bulb recently burned out, allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes before attempting to unscrew it.
- Check the Cavity Size (PRO TIP): Before forcing the bulb into a salt lamp, ensure the hole drilled into the salt rock is wide enough. If the glass bulb rests directly against the heavy rock, the pressure and heat can cause the bulb to shatter prematurely.
- Clean the Contacts: Salt environments can be corrosive. If the new bulb flickers, unplug the cord and gently wipe the inside of the metal E12 socket with a dry cloth to remove any accumulated salt dust or corrosion.
