15W FUL15W BL U-Shape 4-Pin UV Replacement Bulb
Key Features
- Optimal UV Attraction: Engineered to emit a specialized ultraviolet (UV-A) black light wavelength that acts as a highly effective, irresistible lure for mosquitoes, biting flies, and other flying insects.
- U-Shape Twin Tube Design: The 15-watt twin-tube configuration maximizes the luminous surface area, broadening the light dispersion radius to significantly increase the zapper's effective catching zone.
- Continuous Protection: Built for reliable 24/7 outdoor operation, ensuring your patio, deck, and yard remain protected throughout the peak bug season.
- Simple Installation: Features a standard 4-pin base that plugs directly into compatible bug zapper sockets for a quick, tool-free replacement.
- Chemical-Free Lure: Provides a safe, non-toxic method for drawing insects into the electronic killing grid without the use of harmful pesticides or sprays.

Compatibility & Applications
Specifically designed as a direct replacement bulb for outdoor 15W electronic flying insect killers and traps:
- Compatible Brands: Fits seamlessly into popular bug zapper models including Flowtron (BK-15D), Black Flag (BB-15WHT), and Stinger (UV15, FP15, TZ15).
- Outdoor Use: Ideal for protecting patios, backyard decks, and garden spaces when installed in an appropriately rated weatherproof zapper housing.
Installation & Safety Tips
- When to Replace (PRO TIP): UV phosphors naturally degrade over time. Even if the bulb is still visibly glowing purple, its invisible UV output drops significantly after several months. Replace it at the beginning of every bug season for maximum insect-catching efficiency.
- High-Voltage Warning (CRITICAL): Always unplug your bug zapper from the electrical outlet and wait at least 10 to 15 minutes for the high-voltage killing grid to fully discharge before opening the housing to avoid a severe electrical shock.
- Handle with Care: Use a dry cloth, paper towel, or gloves when holding the new bulb during installation. The natural oils from your bare fingers can create localized hot spots on the glass, potentially causing the bulb to crack or shortening its lifespan.
- Gentle Insertion: Hold the bulb firmly by its plastic base, not the fragile glass tubes. Carefully align the 4 pins with the socket and push straight down. Do not twist or rock the bulb.
