Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers
- Model: SMV-60-24
- Replaces constant voltage 24V DC LED drivers with a power rating of 60W or less and a current draw of 2.5A or less.
Compatibility & Fitment
- Compatible with 24V DC LED lighting systems, including strip lights, modules, and light bars.
- Suitable for other low-voltage electronic applications requiring a constant 24V DC source up to 60W.
- Designed for use in both indoor and outdoor environments.
When to Replace
- LED lights flicker, strobe, or exhibit inconsistent brightness.
- Connected lights are dim or fail to turn on.
- Existing power supply overheats, emits a buzzing sound, or shows physical damage.
- Output voltage measures below or significantly above 24V DC under load.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect power at the source before beginning installation.
- Confirm the total wattage of your LED system does not exceed the 60W maximum rating. For optimal longevity, maintain a load of 80% (48W) or less.
- Connect the DC output wires to your LED application, ensuring correct polarity (+ to +, - to -).
- Provide adequate ventilation around the unit to allow for proper heat dissipation.
- While rated for outdoor use, avoid installation in a location of permanent water submersion.
