Compatibility & Fitment
- Compatible with Harbor Freight Predator 3500 Watts Inverter Generators.
- Fits Huayi branded carburetors used on various 212cc and similar displacement overhead valve (OHV) engines.
- Engineered for use in portable inverter generators requiring precise fuel metering for sensitive electronics.
- Compatible with engines utilized in brands such as Loncin, Rato, and other 3500W-class power equipment.
When to Replace
- Engine fails to start or requires excessive priming/pulls to ignite.
- Engine surges (hunts for RPM) or stumbles under electrical load.
- Fuel is leaking from the carburetor bowl or overflow tube.
- The generator only runs when the choke is partially or fully engaged.
- Visible varnish or heavy gumming inside the fuel bowl from stagnant, stale fuel.
- Spark plug shows heavy carbon fouling or the air filter is saturated with oil/debris.
Installation Tips
- Drain the fuel tank and carburetor float bowl completely before beginning the replacement.
- Take a photograph of the throttle linkage and spring configuration to ensure correct reassembly.
- Remove old gasket material from the engine intake manifold to ensure a vacuum-tight seal with the new gaskets.
- Ensure the air filter housing is free of debris before installing the new foam element.
- Hand-thread the new spark plug to avoid cross-threading, then tighten to the manufacturer's torque specification.
- Use fresh, stabilized fuel (87 octane or higher) to prevent immediate clogging of the new carburetor jets.
