FAQs

This key is compatible with snow thrower and snowblower models from Ariens, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Huskee, MTD, Poulan, Toro, and equipment utilizing Zongshen engines. Specifically for Ariens, it fits the Crossover, Classic, Compact, Deluxe, Platinum, and Professional series.
This key replaces OEM part number 07500111 and is compatible with cross-reference numbers 731-05632, 751-10630, and 951-10630.
If your engine fails to turn over or shows no signs of electrical engagement when the key is inserted and turned, the key may be worn, the internal contacts in the ignition switch may be corroded, or the key itself may have a hairline fracture preventing it from fully engaging the switch mechanism. Before replacing, ensure the key is pushed firmly into the slot and that the safety tether (if equipped) is properly attached.
Because these keys are small and easily misplaced during off-season storage, it is common practice to keep a spare attached to the handle of the snowblower using a small carabiner or a split ring. Avoid forcing the key into the ignition; if it feels stuck, apply a small amount of electrical contact cleaner or a dry graphite lubricant to the switch cylinder to ensure smooth operation.
