When to Replace

Installation Tips

  • Ensure the grill is turned off and cooled before inserting or removing the probe from the side jack.
  • Insert the probe horizontally into the thickest part of the protein for the most accurate internal temperature reading.
  • Avoid placing the probe wire directly on hot heating elements to prevent cable damage.
  • Hand wash the stainless steel tip only; avoid submerging the plug or handle connector in water.
  • Ensure the plug is fully seated into the jack on the side of the unit to establish a proper connection.
