When to Replace
- Bristles appear frayed, flattened, or are missing from the roller core.
- The rubber blades show signs of tearing or significant thinning.
- Noticeable decrease in debris pickup or increased vacuuming time for standard areas.
- Excessive vibration or unusual grinding noises originating from the bottom of the unit.
- Standard maintenance cycle: Replace every 6 to 12 months depending on usage frequency and floor type.
Installation Tips
- Ensure the robot vacuum is powered off and removed from the charging dock before maintenance.
- Press the two release tabs on the brush cover simultaneously to remove the protective grate.
- Lift the old brush roller out; check the square and round housing slots for trapped hair or debris.
- Insert the new roller by aligning the fixed end first, then snapping the motor-driven end into the square gear slot.
- Reinstall the brush cover and ensure the tabs click firmly into place to maintain the vacuum seal.
