When to Replace
- Replace every 4 months to ensure consistent mineral concentration.
- Change the cartridge whenever the hot tub water is completely drained and refilled.
- Inspect during routine filter cleaning; replace if the casing shows signs of physical damage or heavy mineral buildup.
Installation Tips
- Ensure the spa water is properly balanced (pH and alkalinity) before installation for maximum mineral effectiveness.
- Remove the old cartridge from the filter standpipe or filter core.
- Insert the new cartridge fully into the designated filter standpipe.
- Ensure the cartridge is securely seated to prevent it from floating or becoming lodged in the filter housing.
- Allow the water to circulate for at least 15 minutes after installation to begin the release of mineral ions.
