529437004 High-Velocity Blower Fan Blade for Ryobi 18V
Key Features
- Centrifugal Air-Flow Design: Engineered with precision-angled vanes to maximize air intake and compression, delivering the high CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) required for clearing heavy debris.
- Reinforced Metal Insert Nut: Features a factory-pressed threaded metal insert at the hub, ensuring a stripped-resistant, high-torque connection to the motor's drive shaft.
- Impact-Resistant Composite: Manufactured from a high-density, balanced polymer to withstand high-speed impacts from small pebbles or mulch drawn into the intake.
- Precision Dynamic Balance: Factory-balanced to minimize motor vibration, which reduces bearing wear and extends the overall lifespan of your cordless blower.
- Direct OEM Integration: Designed to the exact aerodynamic specifications of the original Ryobi 18V fan, maintaining the factory airspeed and battery efficiency.

Compatibility & Fitment
This fan blade is the primary replacement part for the Ryobi ONE+ 18V compact cordless blower series. Key compatible models include:
- Ryobi 18V ONE+ Models: P2108, P21081, P21081VN, P21081VNM.
- Series Fitment: Designed specifically for the axial/centrifugal hybrid 18V handheld blower platform.
- Note: Not compatible with Ryobi 40V backpack blowers or corded electric models which utilize a larger diameter impeller.
When to Replace
- Excessive Vibration: The blower shakes violently during use, indicating a fin has chipped or the hub has become unbalanced.
- Loud Screeching or Grinding: A high-pitched noise that suggests the fan is rubbing against the internal housing or the metal insert has loosened.
- Loss of Air Pressure: The blower motor runs at full speed, but very little air comes out of the nozzle, often caused by shattered or "rounded" fan blades.
- Visible Hub Cracks: Small stress fractures appearing around the center nut, which can lead to a catastrophic fan failure if not addressed.
- Foreign Object Damage: Large chunks of plastic missing from the vanes after accidentally vacuuming up a stone or thick twig.
Installation Tips
- Safety First: Always remove the 18V battery before attempting to open the blower housing. Even a momentary motor pulse can cause serious injury during fan replacement.
- Reverse Threads Check: Many blower fans use Left-Hand Threads (Clockwise to loosen) to prevent the fan from spinning off during operation. Check your specific model's motor shaft before applying force.
- Housing Cleanup: While the blower is open, use a soft brush or compressed air to remove any accumulated dust or dried grass from the motor vents to prevent overheating.
- Do Not Over-Tighten: Tighten the insert nut firmly but avoid using an impact driver. Excessive torque can crack the plastic hub around the metal insert.
- Manual Spin Test: Before reassembling the outer housing, spin the fan by hand to ensure it clears the internal scroll and isn't wobbling on the shaft.
