Pulley Bearings: Make sure they spin freely, as damaged bearings can increase friction and wear; Pulleys Edges: Rust or sharp edges can cause belt damage; Pulley Grooves: Clean debris from the pulley grooves; Tensioner Spring: A weak spring can lead to belt slippage and increased friction
4 SIMPLE STEPS
1. Remove the ignition key and spark plug wire(s) to prevent starting; 2. Disengage the blades, brackets, and blade cable to remove the deck; 3. Release the drive belt from idler pulleys, belt guides, and the transaxle pulley; 4. Reinstall with our new part. Check to ensure it's properly running.
