FAQ

This switch is rated for 15A at 125/250VAC. For DC applications, it is rated for 0.6A at 125VDC and 0.3A at 250VDC.
This is a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) switch with 1 Normally Open (NO) and 1 Normally Closed (NC) contact. It features three 3/16" (4.8mm) standard male spade connectors for the common, NO, and NC terminals.
The V-15-1C25 is a pin plunger style micro switch designed for screw mounting. It is a miniature snap-action switch with a momentary actuation.
Common signs of failure include the equipment failing to start, intermittent operation, or the device remaining stuck in the 'on' or 'off' position. You can test the switch using a multimeter set to continuity mode; with the power disconnected, check for a closed circuit across the common and NO terminals when the plunger is pressed, and across the common and NC terminals when the plunger is released.
Ensure the power source is completely disconnected before beginning installation. Inspect the wiring harness for signs of heat damage, corrosion, or frayed insulation at the spade connectors. If the connectors are loose, crimp them slightly with needle-nose pliers to ensure a tight, secure fit on the new switch terminals.
