Tip-Toe Bathtub Trim Kit with Two-Hole Overflow Faceplate (Silver)
Key Features
- Foot-operated push mechanism allows for quick, hands-free opening and closing of the lower bathtub drain.
- Complete trim kit includes a matching two-hole overflow faceplate to safely conceal the upper tub drain pipe and provide a cohesive aesthetic.
- Manufactured with a durable, corrosion-resistant silver finish to withstand constant exposure to water, soaps, and standard bathroom cleaning agents.
- Engineered to establish a tight, leak-free seal within standard US bathtub drain dimensions.
Replaces / Cross-Reference Part Numbers
- Universal Tip-Toe Trim Kit
- Standard 1.40" - 1.50" Bathtub Drain and Overflow Set
- Two-Hole Overflow Faceplate Kit
Compatibility & Fitment
- Compatible with standard US residential bathtub plumbing configurations.
- Lower drain stopper fits drain shoe openings measuring between 1.40 inches and 1.50 inches in internal diameter.
- Upper faceplate fits standard two-screw overflow pipe mounting brackets.
- Directly replaces existing Lift & Turn, standard Tip-Toe (Push-Pull), and Trip Lever drain stopper assemblies.
When to Replace
- The bathtub fails to hold water, slowly draining out while the lower plug is in the closed position.
- The internal spring mechanism of the stopper is broken, causing it to jam or sit unevenly.
- The visible metal finish of the old drain cover or overflow plate is heavily tarnished, flaking, or corroded.
- The internal linkage of an older trip-lever style drain has snapped, necessitating a conversion to a surface-level stopper system.
Installation Tips
- Thoroughly clean the lower drain opening and the upper overflow pipe rim, removing built-up hair, soap scum, and old plumbers putty before seating the new components.
- Apply a uniform bead of plumbers putty under the rim of the new drain flange before threading it into the crosshairs; use a dedicated drain wrench to secure it firmly without scratching the finish.
- Ensure the thick rubber bevel gasket is positioned correctly behind the tub wall against the overflow pipe to prevent hidden water leaks.
- Align the new overflow faceplate and secure it evenly using the two provided machine screws; avoid over-tightening to prevent cracking acrylic or fiberglass tub walls.
