5-Foot Propane 2-Way Y Splitter Adapter Hose - 1 lb to 20 lb Converter with Shut-Off Valves
Key Features
- Y-splitter design: one QCC1 / Type 1 inlet feeds two CGA600 male outlets run two 1 lb appliances simultaneously from a single 5–40 lb bulk tank
- Individual inline shut-off valve on each outlet branch for independent flow control without touching the main tank valve
- 350 PSI rated working pressure; overflow protection device built into the QCC1 inlet fitting
- 5-foot hose length provides safe working distance between tank and appliances
- All-brass fittings - QCC1 connector, valve bodies, and CGA600 connectors; stainless steel braided hose over rubber inner core
- Two CGA600 protective cap covers included; no tools required for connection
Specifications
- Hose length: 5 ft (60 in)
- Rated pressure: 350 PSI
- Inlet: 1x QCC1 / Type 1 (5–40 lb propane tanks)
- Outlets: 2x CGA600 male (1" x 20 UNEF standard 1 lb appliance regulator thread)
- Fittings: solid brass; Hose: stainless steel braided rubber
- Includes: hose assembly, 2x CGA600 protective caps
Compatibility & Fitment
- Source tank: any 5–40 lb propane cylinder with a QCC1 / Type 1 valve
- Appliance side: portable propane devices with a built-in 1 lb CGA600 regulator inlet, camp stoves, tabletop grills, portable heaters (Mr. Heater MH9B, MH18B), Weber Q grills, Coleman stoves, Blackstone 17" and 22" griddles
- Not compatible with appliances using a QCC1 or POL low-pressure regulator inlet. This hose delivers unregulated tank pressure and requires appliances with their own integral 1 lb regulator
- Confirm your appliance accepts a CGA600 male connector before purchasing
When to Replace
- Visible hose kinking, cracking, or braid fraying
- Gas odor at any connection point after full tightening
- Either shut-off valve no longer seats fully closed
- Stripped or damaged threads on QCC1 or CGA600 connectors
- Bubble formation on hose body during soapy water leak test
Installation Tips
- Close both outlet valves and the tank valve before connecting
- Hand-tighten QCC1 onto tank valve, O-ring sealed, no PTFE tape needed; hand-tighten CGA600 connectors into appliance regulator inlets
- Leak test all joints with soapy water before opening either outlet valve; do not proceed if bubbles appear
- Open the main tank valve a few seconds before opening outlet valves to activate the QCC1 overflow protection device
- At shutdown: close both outlet valves first, then close the main tank valve to relieve hose pressure
- Outdoor or well-ventilated use only; store with protective caps installed
