When to Replace

  • For creating new, secure wire splices in electrical installations.
  • When upgrading or replacing traditional wire nuts or tape-based connections.
  • If an existing connector shows signs of melting, charring, or physical damage.
  • If the locking lever is broken or no longer holds the wire firmly in place.

Installation Tips

  • Strip wire insulation to the length specified by the strip guide on the connector housing.
  • Lift the colored operating lever to the fully open position (90 degrees).
  • Insert the stripped conductor straight into the connector port until it hits the backstop.
  • Lower the lever until it snaps closed, flush with the connector body.
  • Confirm a secure connection by gently tugging on the wire.
  • Place all finished connections inside an approved electrical enclosure.

FAQ

These connectors are designed for solid, stranded, and fine-stranded conductors ranging from 0.08 to 4.0 mm² (28–12 AWG). They provide a secure connection for a wide variety of standard electrical wiring tasks.
Yes, these are designed for multiple uses. The lever-actuated mechanism allows you to open the terminal, insert or remove wires, and clamp them back down without needing to cut or strip the wire again, provided the conductor remains in good condition.
These connectors are rated for a maximum of 32A and 250V. They are ideal for standard residential and light commercial branch circuit wiring, but they should not be used for high-load industrial machinery or applications exceeding these specified electrical ratings.
No tools are required for the connection itself. Simply strip approximately 11mm (0.43 inches) of insulation from your wire, lift the orange lever, insert the conductor fully into the port, and snap the lever back down to lock it in place.
Yes, these connectors are versatile enough to accept a mix of solid and stranded wires within the same unit, as long as the total gauge of each wire falls within the supported 28–12 AWG range.
