FAQ

This tape is designed to adhere to most clean, dry, and smooth surfaces, including wood, metal, plastic, and glass. For the best results, ensure the surface is free of dust, oil, and moisture before application to allow the adhesive to bond properly.
Clean the area thoroughly with a mild detergent or isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. If there is old adhesive residue from a previous seal, remove it with a scraper or adhesive remover to ensure the new tape sits flush and maintains a tight seal.
While this foam tape provides an excellent seal against drafts and moisture, it is primarily intended for indoor use or protected areas. Prolonged direct exposure to harsh UV rays and extreme weather cycles may degrade the foam material over time.
The tape can be easily cut to size using a standard pair of sharp household scissors or a utility knife. We recommend measuring your gap twice and cutting slightly longer than needed, then trimming the excess for a precise, corner-to-corner fit.
You should consider replacing your foam tape if you notice visible cracking, crumbling, or if the foam has lost its 'memory' and no longer springs back to its original shape when compressed. If you can feel cold air drafts or see light leaking through the edges of a closed door or window, the seal is no longer effective.
