When to Replace
- Tread Wear: Replace every 6–12 months or when the rubber treads appear smooth, similar to a worn tire.
- Debris Performance: Replace if the vacuum begins leaving behind clumps of hair or lines of debris on carpets.
- Physical Damage: Inspect for deep cuts or tears caused by hard objects (e.g., staples or glass) which can cause vibration or mechanical failure.
- Acoustic Changes: If the vacuum produces a loud grinding or thumping sound originating from the cleaning head module.
Installation Tips
- Press the release tab on the right side of the cleaning head module to swing the brush frame open.
- Remove the old rollers and pull off the removable end caps to clear any hair or string wrapped around the metal axles.
- Align the new rollers by matching the square and hexagonal peg shapes on the brushes with the corresponding icons on the cleaning head.
- Ensure the brush frame clicks securely into place before restarting the vacuum to prevent damage to the drive gears.
- Rotate the rollers manually once installed to confirm they spin freely without obstruction.
