FAQ

This pump is designed for use with Cummins Onan KY series RV generators, including 3600, 4000, Microlite, and MicroQuiet models. It is suitable for generators in the Spec A through H range.
This unit serves as a direct replacement for OEM part numbers 149-2311, 149-2311-00, 149-2311-01, 149-2311-02, A029F889, and Airtex E11007.
While this pump covers a wide range of KY series generators, please verify your specific generator specification. For later models (Spec J and beyond) that originally utilized the 149-2311-02, the A047N926 pump is typically required.
Common signs of a failing fuel pump include the generator struggling to start, surging or erratic engine performance under load, or the generator shutting down shortly after starting. If you hear no audible 'clicking' sound from the pump when the start switch is engaged, it may have failed internally.
Before installation, inspect your fuel lines for cracks, dry rot, or air leaks, as these can prevent the pump from priming properly. It is also a best practice to replace the inline fuel filter at the same time to ensure the new pump is not immediately clogged by debris from the tank.
This is a low-pressure electric fuel pump designed specifically for these generator applications, operating at approximately 2.5 to 4 PSI with a flow rate of 15-25 GPH.
