Compatibility & Fitment

When to Replace

  • Dryer tumbles but produces no heat.
  • Dryer heats intermittently or stops heating during a cycle.
  • The igniter glows, but the main gas burner fails to ignite.

Installation Tips

  • Disconnect the dryer from the electrical outlet and shut off the gas supply line before starting service.
  • Note the orientation and wire connections of the old coils before removal.
  • The three-terminal coil and two-terminal coil are not interchangeable.
  • Ensure the new coils are firmly seated on the valve assembly before reconnecting wires.

1. Push the clip with a putty knife, disconnect the switch wire to remove the top front panel; 2. Detach the wiring harness from both solenoid coil, remove the screw to release the bracket; 3. Pull the old solenoid coil off of the gas valve; 4. Install the new solenoid coils by sliding them onto the gas valve shaft and secure them with the bracket and screws
