To ensure optimal performance, begin by inspecting the filter for any signs of damage. If the filter is intact, proceed to open the backup valve and remove any impurities from the gear mechanism to maintain smooth operation.

Compatibility

The 9-100-1200 In-Line Backup Valve is specifically designed for use with Polaris 360 and Vac-Sweep 360 pool cleaners. In instances where high water pressure causes the valve to become stuck in standby mode, simply detach the spool and lightly grind the curved surface of the guide tube to alleviate pressure.

Upgraded Mechanism

The gear mechanism is engineered from POM material, recognized for its exceptional wear resistance and stability. It is capable of continuous operation under high water pressure; however, it may become immobilized if excess sand accumulates. To resolve this, remove the grinding wheel for cleaning, allowing the mechanism to resume normal function.
